FAQs

Am I locked into a contract?

There is no agreement period but I do have an agreement that needs your authorisation. The agreement keeps both you and I safe in the event of a mishap. A 7 day written notice is all I require to terminate maintenance services.

Does this protect my website from ever going down or being hacked?

I pride myself on offering quality, reliable services to my clients, however, nothing is ever certain. I cannot promise that your website will never be hacked, go down or break, however, I do promise to do everything in our power to prevent it. I have strict monitors in place, that if something were to ever happen, I would be there to promptly assess the issue and implement a speedy fix.

Does it matter who my website host is?

I can work with nearly all website hosting companies. Did you know that I offer web hosting services as well?!

How do I contact you if something is wrong?

Just shoot me an email and I’ll respond as quickly as I can. Alternatively, you can use the SUPPORT function inside your WordPress dashboard.

What if upgrades break my website?

I always back up your website and test it first. Each month you receive a specified amount of tech support. If there are any issues and it looks like I will need longer, I will contact you first.

How many times do you backup and update the site?

I backup your website daily (database daily and ALL files monthly) and will update your plugins, software and themes monthly.

How do I cancel?

Just complete this form for me! I do require 7 working days notice and a small admin fee will apply. The admin fee includes you receiving final updates, final backups and final Analytic reports being sent to you.

What if I say NO to your plan?

If you decide to decline my maintenance plan, there’s a lot that can go wrong. Here are the top reasons I recommend you make sure your website is maintained:

The site will not be optimized which leads to poor performance, slow loading times and a gradual loss of Google SEO rankings.
The site’s tools, plugins, themes and WordPress itself will quickly go out of date which is the #1 leading cause of website hacks. It’s incredibly important to keep ALL your website tools and plugins up-to-date.
You’ll have no backups or restore points so if the site get hacked or breached, you could lose all your content, pages and Google ranking.
You won’t get a monthly report overviewing your site traffic, page views, etc.
Most importantly, you won’t have us as your trusted webmaster to assist you with quick updates, tweaks, website issues, etc. Often you’ll have to try getting a hold of your hosting company for any assistance.
